NP Medical was founded on a single proprietary intravenous in-line check valve
quickly becoming the market leader for in-line check valve applications to
customers around the world.
1987
NP Medical produces its 100 millionth check valve.
1988
NP Singapore Pte Ltd. is established expanding its manufacturing footprint into
Asia.
1990
NP Medical produces its 200 millionth check valve.
1992
Luer Activated Valve (LAV) line is introduced.
1994
NP Medical releases the first in a robust line of a Pressure Activated Valves
(PAV)
1996
NP Medical introduces the LAV + to the market. As an enhanced design of the
original LAV, the valve's unique geometry allows for safe, complete flushing of
blood and other viscous drugs, needle-free.
NP Medical achieves registration for ISO 9001.
2000
The LAV XL, a needle-free, swabbable, injection device, is released in response
to the market's call for even safer medical devices.
2001
NP Medical produces its one billionth valve.
2004
Committed to the highest level of industry standards, NP Medical becomes ISO
13485 registered.
NP Medical expands its manufacturing capabilities by establishing a new
production facility in the Dominican Republic.
2005
NP Medical expands its fluid delivery portfolio acquiring a complete line of
intravenous filtration products complementary to its core technologies. The
acquisition broadens its position in the fluid handling market by offering
multiple key technologies to its market leading customers.
Nihon Nypro K.K. is established and granted its license to sell and manufacture
disposable OEM medical devices in Japan, introducing the entire NP Medical
product line to the Japanese marketplace.
NP Medical introduces a new logo and release of a new set of product data
brochures to reinforce its leading position in the fluid delivery market.
Today
NP Medical is entering into additional medical markets requiring fluid delivery
solutions.
By blending the latest technologies with innovation and expertise, NP Medical
continues to strengthen its portfolio of products providing lower total cost
