Inline Check Valves

Proven Design for IV Delivery Devices

The NP Medical Inline Check Valve is the valve of choice for market-leading infusion therapy OEMs. This normally closed valve is designed to open at low fluid pressures in the flow direction and prevent backflow into the primary IV line from secondary (piggyback) sets.

With over a billion valves sold, this Inline Check Valve’s time proven design with uniform 360-degree seal provides maximum protection against retrograde flow even at low pressures, and thereby reduces the risk of medication not getting to the patient;1 prevents dilution of drugs being administered to the patient, and secondary infusate from mixing with primary infusate;2 and constrains backflow of blood from cannula to the IV tubing.2
